All field trips, tours, and visits by appointment only.
Visitors are welcome to the habitat on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Please call to make an appointment first. A $25 fee per vehicle will be charged for everyday casual visitors. This helps to feed the animals and pay for the upkeep.
Field trips and tours of Rosehill Habitat cost $5 per student/parent (teachers are free) and are available by appointment only, Monday-Friday. Rosehill Habitat is closed on all major holidays, call if further details are needed.
There will be two staff members to handle groups. One will take a group to feed and pet the deer and the other will take a group to feed the fish. We will allow large groups but a chaperone must be placed in charge of each group. Activities for groups will be provided to the chaperones to keep each group occupied while others are petting the deer and feeding the fish. Each child will get a popsicle. Bag lunches are welcomed. We have a picnic area. We can provide lunch if requested ahead of time for an additional $5 a person.
We also offer a Petting/Fishing field trip. In addition to petting the animals, children can fish for twenty minutes in groups of 10 to 12. The cost for this field trip is $10 per child.
